The article in Het Klaverblaadje no. 60, written by Gijs van Beusekom, says the #112 was the first built TZ 2, at first painted orange. It's debute was at Monza, 1000 kms, april 25th 1965. Then it was painted red for the 24 hours of Le mans in 1965. The same year it raced for the Targa Florio and at the Nürburgring (1000 kms). The car has been discussed earlier on this forum, when a pictured showed up with the car racing at the Ring without front and rear window. At the end of the year #112 went 'down under', it became 1st in the 6 hours of Melbourne, I guess that's the livery seen on the Best model. I'm not sure about that as the article says the car became yellow 'at a certain time'. It was sold to Max Brunningausen who later sold it to the American Said Marouf who had it restored and painted orange again.
Best made the same car also in the Le Mans livery, in a diorama with the car stuck just off-track.
