I wish - money would grow on my trees, I would buy all - even when I have many of them, buuuut so many nice models they are still missing in my collection. Hmmm, on the other hand it would mean: funitures out of rooms and just glas cabinets! haha, what a view...

Well, my V8 is in parts on table to repair, so their would be no time now really for the miniatures. This is my priority where the money goes to at the moment.

Actualy that collection was even bigger than what is on sale now (of wich i was hoping it wouldn't be mentioned here till afterwards ) because i bought the 1:14 tz2's from their collection a lot earlier.
At that time there were quite some lots available also.

Biggest problem is that almost all cars have been removed from their boxes, of wich some have gone missing or are miss-matched to the cars inside.
So a lot of broken off mirrors and door handles.

Still looking at it with interest and will try some biddings. As there is some very nice stuff hidden away in this colossal collection.
I would have liked to see it when it wasn't broken up in parts as it now is, as it would be quite a sight. But probably it was a private collection, not available or known to the public.

People wanting to bid should know bidding is done without the 23% premium and excluding shipping costs. So be a bit carefull what you bid.

De afgelopen weken heeft de Japanse artisan Yow Ito zich weer eens op een bijzonder Alfa model geworpen, tussen allerlei Lancia's, Abarths, Porsche, Lamborghini en Maserati concept ontwerpen door. Dit maal een zeer geslaagd 1:43 model (ref Yow kit99) , reeds aangekondigd in oktober jl.

2000 Pininfarina 2+2 coupé ‘Sestrière’ 1957 van de Torino Motor Show.
Met opmerkelijk brede front, startvinnen, koplampen onder kappen, met een schuifdeur aan de bestuurders kant,
en een deur aan de straat zijde. Nauwelijks als Alfa te herkennen, daarom uniek in Miniatura.

Studio 27 of Japan are doing a resin curbside kit of the Alfa Romeo TZ3 in 1/24th scale. It is due out in late August/early September 2011. My Scale Designs Alfa 1/24th PAN AM 1900 and Mille Miglia 1900 Touring/2900/1750 Zagato sheets are printing at Cartograf. This is a huge double sheet with 3 PAN AM 1900 cars(white, red and brown cars), 2 1952 MM 1900 Touring, the 1947 2.9 MM winner and 1930 1750 MM winner. These are to be used on the Quattroruote 1/24th cars.

The 4C Concept has been announced by Looksmart in 1:43 (ref.LS392) and by BBR in 1:18 , for later this year.
Yow Ito would consider to make a 1:43 resin kit on sufficient demand.

Ik heb "maar" 1 item gewonnen, maar had wel op meer geboden en in principe ook de hoogste prijs.
Maar Vectis hanteert blijkbaar ook een minimumprijs of doet ze toch niet weg voor een (te) lage prijs. Jammer

Wel kans dat de onverkochte items dus nogmaals in de veiling gaan.

Great model, but with the detail pictures i do spot some errors.
The mudflab is much to narrow at the rear wheels, correct hight but not wide enough. And the strengtening bars on the rear ramp should be equaly spaced from each other. And they aren't.
At the top of the ramp and at the bottom there also are some different things. And i can't see the mirror on the side of the cabin is it there?
But it still remains a beauty, and i am very happy i don't collect trucks that big, or i would be very jealous

Vectis veiling ging via artfact, daar had ik mijn biedeingen ingevoerd. En ik heb een aantal veilingen gewonnen voor het minimum bod. Er komt per lot namelijk een drop down lijstje waar je kunt kiezen wat je maximum bod is. Ga je onder de eerste optie zelf wat intypen dan accepteren ze dat niet.
Er waren wat 147 racing 43 elite fabrieksbouw modellen waar niemand het openingsbod van 25 pond voor over had b.v. en er zijn flink wat bailbero setjes blijven staan. Maar dan 15 pond bieden gaat niet werken vanwege de ondergrens aan de veilingen.

Kitaro, I agree with most your criticism. Crossmembers are too thick, and that is probably the cause of all further problems such as their spacing or detailing of the upper and lower ends. OTOH, most model cars compare poorly with a close observation of the real thing.

Instead, the rear view mirrors are provided in a bag, it's me who have not yet put them in place.
