Make sure you keep the weekend of 11th to 13th July free for the Festival of Speed. It will be the 16th running of the hillclimb event in the grounds of Goodwood House, although the theme is still under discussion and won’t be announced until later this year.
Meanwhile, the Goodwood Revival will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2008, not to mention the 60th anniversary of the Goodwood Motor Circuit itself. Lord March and his team are sure to pull out all the stops to create a better-than-ever anniversary spectacular - so, whatever you do, cancel any holidays, wedding plans, work commitments and so on which clash with the weekend of 19th to 21st September. The Goodwood Revival takes precedence for all serious historic motorsport enthusiasts...
Voor wie nog niet bekend is me de evenementen, van de bezoekers van de revivalmeeting wordt verwacht dat je 'period' gekleed gaat (kostuum huren is een optie), 80% van de bezoekers maakt daar redelijk werk van.
