Hunting for the Guinness record: on 27th of May 2012 we will try to overcome Guinness record in Gorjansko(Slovenia) for the longest caravan Alfa Romeo cars.
Alfa Romeo meeting at Gorjansko is a traditional international meeting of owners and fans of Alfa Romeo, which attracts each year many visitors and more than 200 vehicles at Gorjansko, from Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year's event will be very special, because we try to set a record of the longest caravan of Alfa Romeo cars we will try to to get into the Guinness Book of Records.
The current record is considered as 312 Alfa Romeo cars and was built in February 2010 in the town of Epsom in the UK.
Therefore, we invite all owners of Alfa Romeo cars to join us in a caravan with their cars and help us achieve a new Guinness record.
The 7th traditional international gathering of Alfa Romeo owners on the 27th of May 2012 in Gorjansko, Slovenia, is beginning at 9:00.
Among the most attractive parts, the most attractive part of the event is definitely the tourist ride with Alfa Romeo among the Karst.
This year's route is about 50 km. The main stop will be in Opatje Selo, where the caravan participants will be welcomed by the Karsts and about 150 traditional Karsts horsemen.
A part of the program is also blessing our vehicles.
At the venue at Gorjansko, the whole day long, there will be a rich entertainment program which features, among other things, musicians like Gojmir Lešnjak Gojc, mixed choir from Gorjansko, Miran Rudan, group "NI panike", DJ Robi...
Certainly, the greatest attraction which will take much attention is the exhibition of vintage and racing cars from hte long history of Alfa Romeo.
On view will be, among others, legendary cars: Alfa Montreal, GT Junior, Giulietta Spider, Giulia SS, Alfa Romeo F12, ...
Event is organized by the volunteer club members. For the legendary smell of Karst, we will provide locals with delicacies of the Karst.

9:00 Start applications
10:00 The official opening event
11:30 Start of the running parade
12:30 Stop of the flagship drive (at Opatje Village)
15:00 Finish of the parade driving
15:00 Start of entertaining and cultural program
17:00 Presentation of awards and trophies
24:00 End of event
Applications:
Applications will be held on the day of the event and are available in three packages
5 € - with plate number (mandatory for every vehicle involved in the parade and it is necessary to set a record)
10 € - breakfast and lunch (for passengers)
15 € - plate + breakfast + lunch
