I will start with my new model which arrived to me yesterday:

Mattel Mebetoys Gran Toros Alfa Romeo 33/3, 1:43. Model is great, mint in box, it has 4 openings and it's pretty heavy.

Thanks, I don't want to overdo at once. Besides, I will have to photograph some models again and upload pictures so it might take some time.

Do you own more Penny's? The canguro is one of the few Penny's that i dont have yet.

Yes, till this moment I have managed to acquire 3 Pennys (Alfa Canguro and 2600 and Maserati 3500 GT). Also I have Alfa 33 from Polistil Penny racing collection which I have entire. Will upload pics soon.
Ofcourse, I would like to get all the other Penny Alfas, but they are really hard to find especially in good condition.

De nieuwste aanwinst van mijn vriendin:









Foto's even geleend van de verkoper omdat die al helder zat zijn.
Het gaat om een Politoys N80 Fibre Glass Giulia GT door McGregor.
We volgende deze al eens eerder maar ik werd toen helaas in de laatste paar seconden overboden.
De koper was een engelse handelaar die hem meteen na ontvangst weer op Ebay zette (schijnbaar denkend dat ie er flink winst op kon maken).
Zo kregen wij de kans het model alsnog te winnen voor iets meer dan de eerste verkoopprijs (maar met verzend zelfs iets minder).
Zoals je kunt zien is hij niet mint en helaas met een flinke scheur in de voorruit maar gezien de prijs en de zeldzaamheid toch erg de moeite waard.
Staat leuk naast zijn Italiaanse broertje
In het echt is ie wel netter als op de foto's overigens een schoonmaak beurtje deed wonderen.

What a beautiful sight! These old Italian models are my favorites, especially Pennys and RJ series. As I see it, box isn't so important if the model is good, but if it is there, it's great bonus.

I'm interested whether you all collect just Alfa models or also other car brands?

Penny and the RJ series are among my favorits aswell altough its getting harder and harder to find them for good prices (especially the RJ series).
I personally only collect Alfa's but ofcourse i have some other brands aswell like some Fiat's, lancia, and even a few (italian made) Mercedes models.
