Nieuws van de Duitse webwinkel Kosmann & Kosmann/Modelissimo.de. In de grote 1:18 schaal is KK de voordeligste, ca €uro 70. Deuren en motorkap kunnen niet open. KK-Scale.DE bracht al een AlfaSud uit, 1e type 1300 1972, 4 deurs, chroom bumpers, in rood en wit.
Vanaf april 2018 is de Alfa Spider 1983 leverbaar, open kap met los bijgeleverde dichte softtop.
De KK-Scale.DE is de eerste met een Spider type 3 in 1:18.

Voordeliger, dichte modellen, bij voorinschrijving via OttOmobile Club zelfs €uro 59,90. Daarna meestal ca. €uro 90.

OttOmobile Models 1:18 resin-cast: uit Frankrijk kunnen een GTV6 verwachten. (dat doen Solido met Rally en Laudoracing-Model ook al !) OttOmobile komt met een bijzondere editie in oktober. Nu al voordeliger te bestellen in voorinschrijving.
De Franse Alfa importeur bracht in 1983 een gelimiteerde serie uit van 300 wagens om het ‘Production Championship’ met de GTV6 te vieren, gereden door Alain Cudini en Dany Snobeck. De Alfa kon worden geleverd in rosso en grijs metallic, met striping en aerodynamische bodykit van Stand 21. Op 15 inch Gotti lichtmetalen velgen. De handtekeningen van beide coureurs stonden op een plaatje op het dashboard, met het editie nummer ook op de flank.

Ok, after decades of collecting Alfa miniatures we bought often some same/doubles later, so now a lot of models are to offer in a list what you can request by email. PLEASE don't write me thru forum, but to my email, I have not often possibility to check via PC.

De mannen van Matrix Scale Models konden helaas niet bij het Spettacolo Sportivo Zandvoort weekeind zijn, maar stuurden aan de vooravond wel de aankondiging van hun 18e Alfa Romeo, 1:43 resin cast, in de gebruikelijke oplage van 408 exemplaren. Een uniek type, bekend van de internationale Concoursen, het model wordt in januari verwacht:

MX 40102-091 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport 1933, 6e serie, Carrosserie Figoni, 2012



Op een 6C 1750 GS chassis (121215054) ontwierp Giuseppe Falaschi de coupé carrosserie bij Figoni voor de Parijs Salon 1933. De oorspronkelijke kleur schijnt wit-zwart te zijn geweest. Van 1968-2008 reed de Figoni in South Africa, na de restauratie in 1970 in 2-tone blauw. Vanaf 2009 volgde een totaal restauratie. David Cohen bracht de 6C 1750 GS naar het Concorso Villa d’Este Como-Cernobbio 2012 in zwart-wit en won ‘Best of Show’ Coppa d’Oro en de publieks prijs. De Figoni Como winnaar werd al eerder in 1:43 verkleind door EMC Models. Eastern Models Collection is een kleine handbouw firma van Vladimir Pivtorak uit Ukraine. die ook werkt voor het Porsche en Mercedes museum. EMC bouwde alle 3 kleurstellingen. Top detail handbouw met een extreme prijs, ca. 4 x meer dan dit goede Matrix alternatief.

One of the final 6C 1750s produced, this 6th series example was delivered as a rolling chassis to Joseph Figoni's workshop in Paris. The Italian-born master coach-builder clothed the Alfa Romeo with one of his first 'teardrop' designs. Finished in a two-tone black and white paint-job, the car 6C 1750 Gran Sport Figoni Coupe was shown at the 1933 Paris Motor Show on the Alfa Romeo display. It was subsequently awarded with a 'Prix d'Honneur' at both the Monte Carlo and Nice concours d'elegance in 1934. The unique machine was later also shown in Deauville.
Its French owner had completely different plans for car the following season and replaced the streamlined coupe body with a lightweight open body to go racing. The only thing element left from the original design was the front valence panel. Driven by Guy Don and Jean Desvignes, the 6C 1750 Gran Sport finished an impressive 6th overall and first in class at Le Mans. Once the car's racing career was over, the original body was re-fitted. It is believed that later in the decade the Figoni Alfa Romeo was acquired by South African George Elkin. He used the car both on the Cote d'Azur and in Johannesburg during the respective summers. In 1968 the car changed hands, while remaining in South Africa.
As a young man, the current owner often saw the car on the streets of Johannesburg while riding to school on his bicycle. It was the start of a love affair but it would eventually take until 2008 before he finally convinced the previous custodian to sell him the Figoni Coupe. Now painted a two-tone blue, the car had been subjected to a hasty restoration with many corners cut with the help of excessive amounts of filler and even fibreglass. It was quickly decided that a complete body-off restoration was required to return the one-off to its former glory. RX Autoworks of Vancouver was called in to tackle the project.
With the help of historian Simon Moore, the car's history was pieced together. Pictures from both the Paris Salon and the two concours d'elegance were unearthed. On the frame and front valence panel the blue paint was found, which the car sported at Le Mans. Carefully preserving as many original bits as possible, the car was gradually put back together. Among the original elements saved were small sections of the blue paint and a to-do list left inside the seat during the original construction of the car. The extensive work was finally completed early in 2012.
Soon after the 6C 1750 Gran Sport Figoni Coupe was ready, it made its post-restoration debut at the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, where it won all the major silverware. The Alfa Romeo later that year was shown at Pebble Beach. (bron: ultimatecarpage.com)

Voor de 8e keer presenteerde Registro Miniatura in 7 vitrines de 25 SCARB registers met 340 modellen,
tijdens de 40 jaar jubileum editie van het Spettacolo Sportivo in pits 7/8 op Circuit Zandvoort.
Ook besteedden we aandacht aan 35 jaar MARC (Mini Alfa Romeo Club), de door Gijs Jordans en Hans van Leeuwen geschreven modelrubriek in Het Klaverblaadje. RaMei Automodellen 1:43 resin top handbouw: Ralf Meiser heeft zich de afgelopen jaren beziggehouden met de reconstructie van de replica Alfa 6C3000 C50 Corsa no740. Al bij de eerste deelname aan de Mille Miglia 1950 is het origineel zwaar gecrasht en verloren gegaan. Daarom zijn er nauwelijks foto’s te vinden van deze éénmalige Touring Competizione. Voor de reconstructie van de Sanesi no740 (zie SCARB Klaverblaadje 148) kon Ralf Meiser beschikken over één oude Brescia krantenfoto van de achterkant, de enige foto genomen bij de start van de Mille Miglia. Hij kwam tot de conclusie, dat de achterkant anders was dan door velen werd aangenomen. Allen kopieerden de 6C2500 Competizione in plaats van een vin-vormige carrosserie met de gebogen achterruit. Naast de bestaande motor moest alles opnieuw worden gemaakt, een gigantisch project opgezet in Duitsland voor een replica. Motor en chassis zijn klaar. De carrosserie delen zijn uit aluminium geklopt en gepast op de houten spanten mal, die vervaardigd is aan de hand van het door Ralf ontwikkelde 1:8 schaalmodel.

Een spin-off van het 1:1 werk naar een 1:43 verkleining kon niet uitblijven. Vanaf eind oktober 2015 was het RM19 RaMei Modell C50 Mille Miglia met de juiste achterkant verkrijgbaar in een oplage van maximaal 50 exemplaren. Van Ralf mag je verwachten tot in het kleinste detail uitgewerkt: met de tank vulopening door het achterraam en minuscule ets logootjes van Touring !

Het herbouw project heeft grote vertraging gehad de afgelopen jaren, wat opdrachtgever Bernd Groppel uiteindelijk heeft doen besluiten de C50 bij Jim Stokes in Engeland te laten construeren. Veel wordt helemaal opnieuw uitgevoerd en dat zal dus zeker nog een jaar duren, voordat we de C50 op de weg, op het Spettacolo circuit of bij de Mille Miglia kunnen bewonderen.
Ralf Meiser bouwde de eerste basis mal in 1:8. Vervolgens een perfect schaal model in 1:43. Kon je verwachten natuurlijk, de C50 in volle glorie in 1:8 met interieur. net echt. Een éénmalig model voor Bernd Groppel zelf. Jim Stokes zal nog heel wat moeite moeten doen om die RaMei kunst te evenaren in 1:1

It was acquired by a noted collector of coach built post war Italian autos VIA Daniel Rapley from Bob Tucker earlier this year. During Mr. Tuckers tenure with the car he gathered many of the missing Alfa-Romeo components and began restoring the body and chassis to it's original configuration.

If anyone has any information or period photos about this unique automobile we would like to speak with you.

While the overall work of Marco Sambataro is very good, as is the choice of the model, I can't help but regret some minor quality faults that should be avoided in such a price range.

I certainly don't want to play down Gulp, on the contrary I'm glad to have acquired it, but it seems to me that a small amount of extra attention would do much to the rating when we go into the detail. The rest of the work just deserves having the small faults addressed.

De BBR 1:18 en 1:43 Stelvio Q zijn al langer leverbaar in 4 kleuren. De aangekondigde TSM/Top Speed Stelvio 1:18/1:43 nog niet.
Eveneens zijn we nog in afwachting spoedig van de Bburago Stelvio Q in die-cast 1:24/1:43.

OttOmobile resin-cast uit Frankrijk komt, na de 1:18 Giulia Q, december ook met de Stelvio Quadrifoglio. rosso competizione. In gesloten resin-cast 1:18 meestal het voordeligst. €uro 59,90 bij OttOmobile Club online voorinschrijving tot 1 december, daarna meestal €uro 90, ref.OT285

AutoCult Models is een Duits 1:43 resin-cast merk van Thomas Roschmann met altijd een eigenzinnige model keuze. Hij was voorheen actief bij PlayMobile, Schuco en Herpa. In de 'Masterpiece' reeks van Ravensberger bracht AutoCult dit jaar al de gevleugelde aerodynamische 1900 B.A.T.7 1954 en B.A.T.5 1953 uit. in een oplage van steeds 333x, denk aan een prijs van ca. €uro 85-90 :

Nieuw is een opmerkelijke keuze voor de ATL 2000 Sport Coupé (ref.ATC90071), door sommige al als een 'nep-Alfa' beschouwd.
Autotecnica del Lario uit Lecco (Como-Lombardia) bouwde deze éénmalige Alfa Romeo in 1968. Het buizen chassis werd ontwikkeld zoals dat gebruikelijk was voor prototypes in de 50-tiger jaren. De carrosserie is van aluminium, geklopt op de manier, die we kennen van Touring Superleggera. Ophanging is onafhankelijk op alle wielen met veerschokdempers, samen met schijfremmen voor, trommelremmen achter en op Borrani spaakwielen. De motor is een klassieke Alfa 4 cilinder 1900 dubbel nokkenasser, gekoppeld aan een 5 versnellingsbak. Met een gewicht van slechts 810 kg is dit een zeer snelle sportwagen. Het front doet denken aan de Colli 6C 3000 CM en Disco Volante coupés.
In 2007 geveild voor €uro 98.500 en later via Luzzago Brescia aangeboden en in 2013 bij Silverstone auctions.
16 januari as. 2019 wordt de ATL geveild in Scottsdale USA bij WA met een richtprijs vanaf usd 350.000

Op de 2018 Messe toonde WIKING Modelbau GmbH hun nieuwe 1:87 Alfa Spider Duetto1966 in 'Silberlinge' voorserie. Met gesloten kap 1600 en open Junior zonder plexi koplampkappen. Een betere Duetto dan de eerder in 1:87 uitgebrachte BS Design, Artapo en de 'vertinde' Autosculpt op een presse-papier voetje.

1:87 of H0 schaal is vooral de standaard voor modeltreinen en accessoires. WIKING behoort tot de traditionele H0 automodel producenten, al meer dan 75 jaar, maar maakte nog nooit enige Alfa ! In hun oktober nieuwsblad melden ze de eerste uitgave, ref.020601 Alfa Spider Duetto Junior 1970 rood open, denk aan prijs van ca. €uro 17.



In dezelfde ‘trein’ schaal heeft Brekina al een zeer uitgebreide serie Giulia 1300 en 1600 modellen. Onlangs aangevuld met een aanpassing van hun Saviem SG2 (Super Goélette 2ton klasse) bestelwagen naar 2 Alfa F20n furgone 1967. ref.14621 Servizio Corse, rood, ref.14622 Ricambi Originali, wit. Een 3e uitvoering van de F20n furgone is, ref.14653 wit, met opdruk: '1300 Junior la Giulia che vince !'
WIKING ontwikkelde het Duetto Spider H0 model, Brekina Automodelle kondigt in de 'Bella Italia' reeks voor november-december 4x de Spider 2000 Coda Tronca aan. ref.29600 rosso, ref.29601 beige-geel, ref.29603 argento en ref.29601 Rijkspolitie no11 Algemene Verkeersdienst Driebergen 1973. Prijzen ook ca. €uro 15-18.

November 2017 Bburago meldde als eerste de die-cast 1:24 van de Alfa Stelvio Q, ref.18-21086 op hun websites.
Dan volgt daarna zeker ook de 1:43 Street Fire schaal.

Een jaar later wordt de 1:24 eindelijk nu vanuit China aangeboden. ca. €uro 25. De eerste en voordeligste Stelvio in deze schaal.
De 1:43 Street Fire volgt.

I have recently found a few pecurliar Alfa Romeo models, among which one remains a mistery for me, as it is not listed in Fer's listing nor do I see any reference that could match in any other publication.

It is a 1/32 Tipo B (P3) Monoposto, quite heavy, so my best guess for now would have it made of resin (seller said wood), and most if not all suspension parts are metal, possibly steel as tiny wires are actually very strong. I think that the chassis side rails could also be of metal.

It could well be scratchbuilt, but then the modeller did a hell of a job with all those metal suspension parts. Or it's an unknown kit, or even it could be a conversion from a kit of another car. Provenance is UK.

Any help with identification is welcome.

Note the hand painted cavallino, protruding compressors (unlikely feature if scratchbuilt):


I have already seen such wheels on vintage kits, but I can't remember which. This could be a hint.
